Baapstore figures from its pricing page, checked 25 October 2026. Its pricing table and FAQ give different shipping charges.

Fees before your first sale

Baapstore is a paid membership: ₹9,999 a year on its Pro yearly plan, or ₹24,999 once for lifetime access. Its FAQ says subscriptions are not refundable. Arta has no membership at all; you can list products and take orders without paying anything first.

Fees on every order

Baapstore adds shipping to each product (₹69 on its pricing table, ₹89 in its FAQ) and charges ₹99 for each returned product. On Arta, delivery to your customer, the payment and COD fees, and GST are already inside Arta's price, so a delivered order has no extra shipping charge. A parcel that returns undelivered costs a per-unit charge by weight at the courier's current rate, shown on that order in your payout statement.

Getting paid

Arta pays daily: an order becomes payable 4 days after delivery once your balance is ₹500 or more, and every payout comes with an Excel statement of each order. Baapstore's pricing page doesn't say when or how often it pays.

Which one fits you

  • Choose Arta to start with no fee upfront, keep shipping inside the product price, get paid daily, and sell on Shopify or an Arta site.
  • Choose Baapstore if you specifically want its 5,000+ product catalogue or its saree programme, and a one-time lifetime fee suits you.
